ECC follows the refund policy displayed online at www.elgin.edu/refunds and in our course schedules. For a list of refunds by date and by class, go to www.elgin.edu/withdraw.
To view the refund policy and see if you are eligible for a refund, visit elgin.edu/refunds. The first batch of refunds will be processed approximately the third week of classes to accommodate schedule changes. If your schedule is set and you are not receiving financial aid, you can call the Student Accounts Office to request that your refund is processed in the next batch. Refunds will be processed based on the original payment method. Credit cards are refunded first. If you paid with a check, e-check, or cash, your account will be refunded with a check.
