U.S. transcripts:

  1. All official transcripts should be sent to the ECC Admissions Office. An official transcript is sent directly from the institution where the courses were taken or it arrives at ECC in a sealed envelope.
  2. Call Admissions 847-214-7385 to confirm ECC received all the transcripts to be evaluated.
  3. If you are uncertain which degree/certificate you are interested in, meet with an advisor first: 847-214-7390.
  4. Submit the request for evaluation form indicating which program you are pursuing. Visit www.elgin.edu/evaluation for the evaluation request form.

Foreign transcripts:

  1. Post-secondary credit earned in other countries must be evaluated by ECE (www.ece.org), WES (www.wes.org), or Educational Perspectives (edperspective.org) before ECC can determine transferability of credit.
  2. Have a copy of the report sent to ECC or to you. If you have the evaluation sent to back to you, bring it to the ECC Records office so we can make a copy and give the original back to you.
  3. If you are uncertain which degree/certificate you are interested in, meet with an advisor first: 847-214-7390.
  4. Submit the request for evaluation form indicating which program you are pursuing. Visit www.elgin.edu/evaluation for the evaluation request form.
