Have all official transcripts sent directly to the ECC Admissions Office.
An official transcript is either mailed directly from your previous school or arrives at ECC in a sealed envelope.
Call Admissions at 847-214-7385 to confirm that all transcripts have been received for evaluation.
If you’re unsure which degree or certificate you’d like to pursue, schedule an appointment with an academic advisor at 847-214-7390.
Once you’ve chosen a program, complete the Request for Evaluation form at elgin.edu/evaluation.
College or university credits earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated by one of the following organizations before ECC can review them for transfer credit:
Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) – ece.org
World Education Services (WES) – wes.org
Educational Perspectives – edperspective.org
Request that a copy of your evaluation report be sent directly to ECC or mailed to you.
If you receive it yourself, bring it to the ECC Records Office. We’ll make a copy and return the original to you.
If you’re unsure which program you want to pursue, contact an academic advisor at 847-214-7390.
Complete the Request for Evaluation form at elgin.edu/evaluation and indicate the program you plan to pursue.
